Aline Smithson opens at University of the Arts

Shadows & Stains is open in Philadelphia at the University of the Arts Gallery 1401. For those of you east coast fans who missed Aline's beautiful show earlier this year, don't wait another minute, catch a cab, get on a train or drive on down to take a look. The work is truly beautiful.

Loren Nelson

During our summer vacation exhibition, On Location, I was so excited to have a print from Loren's series of Plastic Covered Buildings. Black and White images of foreboding clouds, billowy sheets of plastic and the mystery of the architecture beneath them.

I am so pleased to announce this image as part of our collectible show coming up this fall. A corner of the Cadillac Hotel here in Seattle, the building went thru an extensive renovation after the earthquake in 2001, and Loren was able to document the work under wraps. We are in the process of getting more of Loren's work up on-line, and you can see for yourself the glorious details, in the meantime we have linked you back to Loren's website to view the images.
